Teekonda publishes data intelligence for the travel and hospitality trade, with news and destination guides for tour operators, travel agents, hotels and destination organisations. It reports from inside a tour operator and is published by Teekonda Europe OÜ in Tallinn, Estonia (ISSN 3125-5973).
What does data intelligence mean here?
It means turning official tourism figures, fairs and market information into data the trade can use for decisions: arrivals, receipts, capacity and risk, country by country, checked against their sources. See World tourism data.
Who is Teekonda for?
Tour operators and DMCs, travel agencies and advisors, hotels, destination marketing organisations and tourism boards, and investors and analysts who follow the travel industry.
What does Teekonda publish?
World tourism data, industry news and analysis, a calendar of tourism and hospitality fairs, destination guides written for the travel trade and video reporting.
Who writes Teekonda?
The editor-in-chief is Marcello Peluso and the journalist is Marco Pugliese. Names, roles and contacts are listed in the Imprint.
Is the reporting independent from travel sales?
Teekonda Europe OÜ also organises and sells travel under the Teekonda brand on a separate website. The magazine does not link to or promote those trips, and the Editorial Policy explains how editorial content and travel sales are kept apart.
Where do the figures come from?
The data pages start from official figures and check them against their sources before turning them into something usable. See World tourism data.
How can I cite Teekonda?
