A small-group Baltic tour that takes you through three of the Baltic Sea’s most fascinating capitals: Riga, Tallinn and Helsinki. This immersive itinerary combines culture, history, local food and seaside landscapes, ideal for travellers who want to truly experience Northern Europe with a relaxed but enriching pace. From your first stroll in Riga’s atmospheric old town to your final farewell along the Baltic coast, every day offers a mix of guided discovery and time to follow your own curiosity.
Discover Riga’s elegant Art Nouveau architecture, cross the river to the characterful island of Kipsala and dive into the colours, scents and flavours of the lively Central Market. Wander through Tallinn’s perfectly preserved medieval old town, with its cobbled streets, towers and panoramic viewpoints, and take time to enjoy cafés, museums and craft shops at your own rhythm. Spend a full day in Helsinki, one of Europe’s coolest and most sustainable coastal cities, exploring its waterfront, design districts, iconic monuments and vibrant food scene, including lunch at the fish market with local specialities.
Well-planned logistics, comfortable centrally located hotels and scenic journeys by bus and ferry make moving between the three capitals easy and enjoyable rather than tiring. A balanced rhythm of guided visits and generous free time allows you to choose between museums, shopping, urban walking, sunset walks or simple relaxation in a café. This Baltic itinerary is perfect for couples, friends and solo travellers looking for an authentic and memorable Baltic Sea holiday, with the pleasure of travelling in a small group and the freedom to savour each destination in their own way.
Arrive in Riga and transfer to the city centre, then check in at the hotel and enjoy a first walk to get familiar with the old town.
After breakfast, our Italian-speaking guide will meet us at the hotel and accompany us to discover the secrets of this magnificent historic city. Lunch is free, and in the afternoon we will have time to get pleasantly lost in the narrow streets, do some shopping or visit the museums that interest us most. The time will be at the participants’ disposal, so everyone can enjoy each moment at their own pace. In the evening we meet again for dinner in one of the city’s characteristic restaurants or pubs, for a joyful night together.
After breakfast, we head out to visit Kipsala island, often overlooked by hurried tourists but full of fascinating views and wooden houses. We then visit the covered market and, after free time for lunch, each person can decide how to spend the afternoon. Dinner at leisure (no group arrangements).
A scheduled coach, included in the price, will take us to Tallinn and in about four hours we will arrive in a new city. We leave our luggage at the hotel and go out to explore the medieval old town. Dinner is planned in one of the excellent restaurants in the city centre.
The alarm rings early, but for a very good reason: we head to the port, board the first ferry to Helsinki and spend the day discovering this seaside city. An Italian-speaking guide will be waiting for us and will lead us through the vibrant heart of the Baltic’s coolest and most sustainable capital. In addition to monuments and historic buildings, we stop for lunch at the fish market, tasting local specialities. In the afternoon we finish our visit of the city and, towards evening, we return to Tallinn in time for dinner. Dinner at leisure (no group arrangements) and the rest of the evening is for relaxing.
After breakfast, our guide will be waiting for us outside the hotel. Over the course of about four hours, we will be able to ask all the questions that come to mind and listen to the stories of this centuries-old city. Lunch is free, and the afternoon is dedicated to relaxation, shopping or visits to museums of your choice. We meet again at dinner time. After dinner, the evening is free.
On our final morning in Tallinn, after one last breakfast, a scheduled coach included in the price will take us back to Riga, where our journey comes to an end.
