AI Use and Transparency Policy
We use artificial intelligence as a working tool. People decide what is published and answer for it.
How We Use AI
- AI tools assist our team with research, planning, drafting, editing and translation.
- Some content is drafted with AI assistance and then reviewed, checked and edited by a member of our team before publication.
- Language versions other than English are produced with AI translation. The English version is the reference text.
Human Responsibility
- Nothing is published without review by a person.
- The Editor-in-Chief, named in the Imprint, is accountable for everything we publish, whatever tools were used to produce it.
- AI tools are not credited as authors. Bylines name the people responsible for the content.
Accuracy
- AI tools can produce errors and invented details. We verify facts, names, prices, dates and quotations against reliable sources before publication.
- We do not publish quotations or personal experiences that were generated by AI and presented as real.
Images, Audio and Video
Where an image, audio or video is generated or substantially altered by AI in a way that could be mistaken for a real recording of a place, person or event, we label it clearly.
Translation Errors
If a translated version differs from the English text, the English text prevails. Report translation errors to press [at] teekonda.com.
Changes to This Policy
AI tools change quickly. We review this policy regularly and show the date of the last update below.
