Editorial Policy
Teekonda Magazine publishes travel journalism, destination guides and cultural reporting for curious travellers. This policy explains how we work and what you can expect from us.
Who Publishes the Magazine
Teekonda Magazine is published by Teekonda Europe OÜ, a company that also organises and sells travel. We say this openly because it matters: you should know who is speaking when you read us.
Editorial Independence
- Editorial decisions are taken by the Editor-in-Chief, named in the Imprint.
- We choose topics and destinations for their interest to readers, not because a trip is on sale.
- Articles are not written to order for commercial partners.
- Commercial considerations do not decide what we report, how we describe a place, or what we criticise.
Links to Teekonda Trips
- Articles and guides may link to trips sold by Teekonda Europe OÜ.
- These links are always identified with the label Teekonda trip, so they are never presented as independent recommendations.
- Content whose main purpose is to promote a Teekonda trip is labelled Promotion and kept visually distinct from editorial articles.
- An article can be read and used in full without buying anything.
Accuracy and Sources
- We check facts before publication and prefer primary and official sources.
- Practical information such as prices, opening times and entry rules changes often. We show the date of publication or last update on every article and guide.
- We distinguish reporting from opinion. First-person impressions are presented as such.
Bylines and Dates
Magazine articles carry the name of their author and their publication date. Destination guides are published under the editorial team byline. Substantial updates are dated.
Corrections
- Report an error to press [at] teekonda.com.
- We correct confirmed errors promptly in the article itself.
- Significant corrections are marked with a dated note explaining what changed.
Images, Audio and Video
We publish only material we own or are licensed to use, and we credit authors where required. We ask for consent before publishing identifiable images or voices of private individuals where the law requires it.
Ethical Standards
Teekonda Magazine adheres to the principles of the Code of Ethics of the Estonian Press. If you believe we have fallen short of them, write to press [at] teekonda.com.
