Advertising, Sponsorship and Affiliate Disclosure
Teekonda Magazine currently carries no third-party advertising, no sponsored content and no affiliate links. This page sets the rules we will follow if that changes, and explains how we label our own commercial content today.
Labels We Use
- Teekonda trip: a link to a trip sold by our publisher, Teekonda Europe OÜ.
- Promotion: content whose main purpose is to promote Teekonda trips or services.
- Advertisement: space paid for by a third party.
- Sponsored: content produced with payment or other support from a third party.
- Affiliate link: a link that may earn us a commission if you buy through it.
- Hosted: travel, accommodation or services provided free or at a discount to the author.
Our Rules
- Every commercial relationship relevant to an article, guide, podcast, video or social post is disclosed clearly, at the start of the content or next to the link concerned.
- Labels are written in plain words and placed where you see them before you read, listen or click.
- Advertisers, sponsors and hosts do not review, approve or change our editorial content.
- Paying for advertising or sponsorship does not buy coverage, and declining to advertise does not exclude a place or a company from coverage.
- Affiliate commissions never change the price you pay.
- On social media and podcast platforms we also use the disclosure tools each platform provides.
Our Own Trips
Our publisher sells travel. When we link to a Teekonda trip we say so with the label Teekonda trip. See the Editorial Policy for how we keep reporting and sales apart.
